Meeting Minutes for

Wednesday, May 10, 2006

Members in attendance: Gordon Hughes, David Martin, Shirley Schofield, Brent Gundlah, Steve Lesperance

Meeting called to order at 7:45 p.m.

1. Gordon Hughes-motion to accept last month’s minutes as amended. Seconded by Brent Gundlah; motion passed unanimously.

2. Brent Gundlah has brought up plans to remove front portico.

Reasons: A. Hides the detail and glass over door (fan light)

B. Pulling away from house

C. Support pillars rotting at brick base

D. Flashing needs repair

Brent also would like to remove storm door and build a wooded door.

Brent will ask Joe Kent if a demolition permit will be required.

*Members agree that Brent’s ideas will be backed by Historical Commission.

3. David Martin speaks of updates on candidates for new signs; asks if we can go

ahead and issue the signs while application process is ongoing.
